Description
A fine and impressive antique 0.98 carat diamond and 18 carat yellow gold marquise shaped ring; part of our diverse gold diamond rings collection. This fine and impressive antique diamond ring has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold. The pierced decorated, marquise-shaped setting is ornamented with a central collet set 0.42ct Old European cut diamond. The feature diamond is encompassed by fourteen eight-cut diamonds, pavé set in a scalloped marquise shaped boarder. The tapering ring shoulders are each embellished with three eight-cut diamonds, set in a graduating linear formation, melding seamlessly with the plain, hallmarked ring shank. This gold marquise shape cluster diamond ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the 18ct gold fineness mark (750). This impressive 1900s ring is supplied with an Idgl diamond grading report certificate for the feature stone, in addition to an Idgl diamond grading report card for the supporting stones. Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone. This antique ring is excellent quality, set with impressive feature diamond displaying fine colour and brilliance. The high colour grade supporting diamonds display a fine white colour and brilliance. The ring is an excellent gauge of gold and is in excellent condition, with a clear hallmark to the interior shank. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of antique diamond jewellery.
