Fine and impressive antique 12 carat yellow gold fetter watch chain made by Liberty; part of our diverse collection of gold jewellery.
This fine and impressive antique watch chain has been crafted in 12ct yellow gold.
The chain consists of ten three-dimensional curvilinear links, conjoined with fetter chain links.
The chain is fitted to one side with a spring-loaded bolt ring clasp and to the other with a swivel clasp.
The swivel clasp is hallmarked with the 14ct gold fineness mark (14K) and the plaque to the chain bears the maker's mark (Liberty) and further fineness mark (14K); the piece has been more accurately tested with a modern, state of the art piece of technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as 12ct gold.
By virtue of its length, this impressive and versatile Liberty yellow gold chain may be utilised as a watch or fob chain, in addition to being worn as a necklace or alternatively wrapped twice around the wrist to be worn as a bracelet.
This impressive chain was crafted by the renowned goldsmiths Liberty & Co.
Such antique chains with a retailer's mark/plaque are becoming increasingly difficult to locate; this is a fine feature of the piece.
