Description
Stunning, fine and impressive, unusual antique 1.55 carat diamond, 18 carat yellow gold and platinum set two stone ring; part of our diverse collection of antique 1920s diamond rings. This fine and impressive antique two stone diamond ring has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold with platinum settings. The pierced decorated settings are ornamented with a feature 0.81ct and 0.74ct Old European round cut diamond, individually claw set in an unusual offset/twist formation to a double stranded ring bridge. The 18ct yellow gold ring shoulders integrate with the main settings and conjoin to blend seamlessly with the plain shank. This impressive antique engagement ring is hallmarked to the outer surface of the shank with the French gold import mark (owl) and platinum import mark (masked man); these marks are used for finished articles brought into France to be examined by the French assay office. This impressive antique two stone solitaire diamond ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 carat gold and platinum. This stunning and unusual ring is supplied with two Idgl diamond grading report certificates. Such period rings with well-matched diamonds and crafted in this unusual offset design are rare to the market. Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone.
