This is a stunning, fine and impressive antique 2.60 carat white opal and 2.95 carat diamond, 9 carat yellow gold and silver set brooch / pendant; part of our diverse brooches collection. This stunning, fine and impressive antique brooch has been crafted in 9ct yellow gold with a silver setting. The bar style brooch is ornamented to the centre with a feature fifteen-claw set 2.60ct cabochon cut white opal. The stunning cabochon opal is encircled by fifteen individually claw set Old European cut diamonds. The impressive antique brooch is ornamented with a further ten Old European cut diamonds, each individually millegrain decorated collet set to the terminal of a linear bar within a stellate design. The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp. This versatile antique brooch can also be worn as a pendant; if required, the brooch fitment could be removed and a ring loop can be attached to enable the piece to be worn as a pendant. This antique opal brooch in yellow gold has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as 9 carat gold and silver.
