Antique 2.90ct Diamond & 9ct White Gold Drop Earrings c.1890

Fine and impressive pair of antique 2.90 carat diamond and 9ct white gold and silver set drop earrings; part of our diverse Victorian jewellery collection. These stunning antique diamond earrings have been crafted in 9ct white gold with silver settings. These earrings each feature an impressive pavé set Dutch cut diamond to the articulated pear-shaped terminal. The feature terminals suspend from a shaped scalloped link, each ornamented with six diamonds in a combination of Old European and Dutch cut. The apex of each impressive drop is embellished with a cluster setting, each incorporating seven diamonds, supporting a single collet set link, completing the earring design. These Victorian diamond drop earrings, for pierced ears, secure to the reverse with a post and butterfly fastening. These earrings have been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as 9 carat gold and silver; it is often the case of earrings of this period to be crafted in 9ct gold. These impressive earrings are supplied with two Idgl diamond grading report certificates for the feature stones, in addition to an Idgl diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.
