The panels have acanthus leaf decorated upper borders. The teapot is fitted with a hinged domed hallmarked cover which retains the original hallmarked sterling silver finial. The teapot has a fluted decorated swan necked spout, and is fitted with an acanthus leaf decorated C scroll handle with acanthus leaf decorated sockets and ivory insulators. The matching cream jug and sugar bowl both have acanthus leaf decorated C scroll handles.
It is excellent quality with a combined weight of 1092g. Each piece is hallmarked for Alexander Clark Manufacturing Co, 1901, Sheffield.
The whole set is in excellent condition and displays beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and some minor signs of age and use but no major damages or anything detrimental. The set has been gently cleaned and polished is ready for use.
