Antique 3.58ct Ceylon Sapphire & 2.02ct Diamond 15ct Yellow Gold Pendant c.1900

This is a stunning, fine and impressive 3.58 carat Ceylon blue sapphire and 2.02 carat diamond, 15 carat yellow gold and silver set pendant; an addition to our antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections. This stunning, fine and impressive antique sapphire pendant has been crafted in 15 carat yellow gold with a silver setting. The pierced decorated frame displays an impressive feature 3.58ct oval cut Ceylon sapphire, claw set in relief to the centre. The impressive sapphire is encircled with nineteen claw-set Old European cut diamonds, totalling 2.02cts. The sapphire cluster pendant is suspended from a yellow gold via a later attached ring loop to the upper border. The contemporary 45.72cm / 18', 18ct yellow gold trace chain secures to the reverse with a conventional, spring-loaded ring clasp. This stunning pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as 15 carat gold and silver.
