This is a stunning, fine and impressive antique 42.24 carat aquamarine, 1.62 carat diamond and platinum brooch / pendant; part of our antique aquamarine jewellery collections.
This stunning, fine and impressive 1920s brooch/pendant has been crafted in platinum.
The pierced decorated, rectangular shaped setting displays a stunning feature millegrain decorated collet set 42.24ct emerald cut aquamarine.
The feature aquamarine is encompassed with sixteen collet set Old European round cut diamonds, subtly protruding from the central setting.
The pierced decorated frame of the brooch is further ornamented with an inverted arch border incorporating forty-eight pavé set diamonds, in a combination of eight and Dutch cuts.
The brooch secures to the reverse with a detachable hinged pin and push fit clasp; the detachable pin indicates the high quality of the piece.
This versatile antique brooch may also be worn as a pendant and suspended from an 18' platinum trace chain via an integrated loop to the reverse of the setting.
This impressive aquamarine brooch/pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum.
