Antique 4.48ct Diamond & Platinum Necklace c.1920

Magnificent, stunning, fine and impressive antique platinum and 4.48 carat diamond necklace; part of our diverse 1920s diamond jewellery collections. This magnificent antique diamond pendant has been crafted in platinum. The necklace features a stunning 3.85ct Old European cut diamond individually collet set within a millegrain decorated frame. The feature diamond terminates a linear drop accented to the centre with a collet set Old European cut diamond. The linear arrangement suspends from a millegrain decorated collet style setting, which displays a further Old European round cut diamond. The diamond pendant is suspended from an integrated 17.5' trace chain via two integrated ring loops to the upper border. This magnificent antique diamond necklace has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum. This stunning example of antique jewellery is supplied with an independent diamond grading report certificate for the feature stone, in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones. Such an antique piece, featuring a large diamond terminal, is becoming increasingly difficult to locate. Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds.
