Antique 7.20ct Sapphire & 2.91ct Diamond, 15ct Yellow Gold Brooch c.1920

Stunning, fine and impressive antique 7.20 carat sapphire and 2.91 carat diamond, 15 karat yellow gold and silver set brooch; part of our diverse 1920s sapphire jewellery collection. This stunning, fine and impressive sapphire brooch has been crafted in 15k yellow gold with a silver setting. The tapering curvilinear feature portion of the brooch is embellished with twenty-eight cabochon sapphire beads, arranged in a tiered cluster formation replicating the details of a floral head. This asymmetric brooch is further embellished with an elongated scrolling design to either side, in addition to a tied ribbon motif creating a floral spray arrangement. The surface of this desirable floriated brooch is embellished with two-hundred and fifty-five pavé set eight cut diamonds. The reverse of the brooch flower head is embellished with a pierced decorated trellis design; this indicates the high quality of the piece. This antique sapphire spray brooch secures to the reverse with a yellow gold hinged pin and clasp fastening. This antique sapphire and diamond brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as 15 karat gold and silver. This impressive brooch is supplied with an Idgl diamond and gemstone grading report card.
