Description
A fine and impressive pair of antique Art Deco 1.00 carat sapphire and 1.20 carat diamond, platinum and 14 karat white gold set earrings; part of our diverse antique sapphire earring collection. These fine and impressive antique sapphire earrings have been crafted in platinum with 14k white gold fastenings. These stepped Art Deco style earrings are each ornamented with millegrain collet set two French cut sapphires, totalling 1ct. Each sapphire is flanked with two Old European round cut diamonds, pavé set to square settings in a tiered linear formation. The lower portion of each earring is embellished with a four-claw set square cut diamond, completing the design. These Art Deco earrings, for non-pierced ears, secure to the reverse with a hallmarked 14k white gold hinged latch fastening; this bears a hinged undulating grip to ensure a comfortable and firm fit of these delicate earrings in situ. The reverse of the fastening bears the 14k gold mark (14K) and the patent number (Pat 2423905); these earring settings have been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum. The sapphire and diamond clip on earrings are supplied with an Idgl diamond and gemstone grading report card. Art Deco diamond and sapphire earrings are a refined gift for milestone birthdays, anniversaries, engagements and wedding perfect as a 'something blue' for a bride. Embodying 1920s glamour, they appeal to Art Deco jewelry collectors and lovers of timeless elegance. Images do not always reflect the true color and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds.
