A stunning, fine and impressive 1.02 carat emerald and 11.88 carat diamond brooch in platinum; part of our authentic antique Art Deco jewellery/jewelry collection. This stunning, fine and impressive antique brooch has been crafted in platinum. The pierced decorated Art Deco frame features an impressive 1.02ct emerald cut emerald flanked with tiered motifs embellished with a total of twenty-eight square cut diamonds. The central geometric setting is further embellished with fifty pavé set diamonds, in a combination of Old European and eight-cuts. This stunning diamond and emerald brooch is ornamented with a segmented, angular frame ornamented with eighty-eight diamonds. The exceptional Art Deco setting incorporates collar designs to the cardinal points, accented with a total of seventy-eight diamonds, in a combination of square, Old European and eight cuts. The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and sheath style fastening. This versatile brooch incorporates a ring loop attachment to the reverse of the setting, allowing the piece to be worn horizontally as a pendant. This antique brooch is supplied with an Idgl diamond and gemstone grading report card. This stunning brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum. 'Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics.' This original 1920s Art Deco brooch is excellent quality, set with an impressive emerald displaying fine colour, brilliance and presence. The very well colour matched, high colour graded diamonds display a fine white colour and brilliance. The brooch is an excellent gauge of platinum and is in excellent condition. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this stunning diamond and emerald brooch in platinum.
