Stunning, fine and impressive antique 1.30 carat sapphire, seed pearl and 0.03 carat diamond and 18 carat yellow gold and 18 carat white gold set pendant - boxed; part of our diverse Art Nouveau jewellery collection.
This stunning, fine and impressive antique French antique necklace has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold.
The pierced decorated Art Nouveau style frame is ornamented with a central organic trefoil-shaped design accented with three collet set marquise cut sapphires and incorporating a collet set Dutch cut diamond.
The pendant frame supports three articulating linear formations incorporating alternating collet set round faceted sapphires and seed pearls.
The central tassel terminates with an impressive pearl, and the flanking drops bear a millegrain decorated collet set pear faceted cut sapphire.
The asymmetrical swept upper portion of the gold frame is embellished with simplified leaf style textures, incorporating two circular organic designs, each bearing a collet set Dutch cut diamond to the centre with seven further protruding pearls.
This Art Nouveau necklace in gold with sapphires and pearls suspends from a contemporary 18ct yellow gold 16.5' chain via two ring loops to the upper border of the pendant frame, securing with a conventional spring-loaded hallmarked 9ct yellow gold bolt ring fastening to the reverse.
This impressive antique 1900's Art Nouveau pendant is hallmarked with the French 18 carat gold mark (eagle's head) and maker's mark, and the bolt ring bears the 9ct gold mark (9K).
The pendant is supplied with an Idgl diamond and gemstone grading report card.
This stunning necklace is fitted to a period hinged leatherette presentation box, with a satin and velvet lined interior, securing with a push fit catch.
The interior of the cover bears the French retailer's mark 'Maison G. Sussmann, R. Mousky & Place de L'Opéra, Le Caire'.
This stunning Art Nouveau necklace is the finest of its type you could hope to acquire.
