Second generation antiques dealers specialising in fine traditional English period furniture, all available online and delivered direct to your door. We keep items as original as possible, but wherever needed our furniture is restored professionally and sympathetically back to its original former glory using only traditional methods. We’re able to offer great value by not having to cover the overheads of swanky showrooms and we include delivery to the majority of the UK in all prices so you know that the amount you see is the total you’ll pay. Operating solely online, we price our pieces as keenly as possible from the outset rather than building in room for reductions. We offer one price for all, with no separate trade prices or special discounts. All stock is our own, stored in our own two warehouses and is ready to be dispatched once ordered. Simply place your order and then our courier will be in touch directly in due course to arrange delivery at a suitable time. Alternatively get in touch to discuss any piece you might be interested in or if you have any other questions - Steve

Description
Late 19th Century English Arts & Crafts movement Queen Victoria 1897 Diamond Jubilee commemorative mahogany elbow chair. A wonderful piece of history, the seat panel has been reupholstered ready for use, but the original, now rather threadbare back is in place with the commemorative shield still visible. To the top of the chair there is a further inlaid commemoration. Very good condition, structurally all solid with just some attractive aged wear to the mahogany surfaces and obvious wear to the original upholstery kept in place for posterity.
