This is an antique cheese wheel dish. An English, ceramic decorative butter tray, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1870.
Appealing colour and decorative motif, with a cool, tactile nature that displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order. Quality square-shaped ceramic with a crisp white finish. Blush pink with white foliate patterns adds a delightful touch of colour. Maker's mark to base for Minton Bb - used circa 1860-1870.
This is a charming antique cheese wheel dish, with a pleasing colour and usefully cool to the touch. Delivered ready for the kitchen.
