Description
This is an antique coal scuttle. A Scottish, hand-beaten copper fireside bin in Aesthetic Period taste, dating to the Victorian era, circa 1880.
Wonderfully decorative and hand finished - a treat for the fireplace that displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order. Hand beaten copper presents shimmering amber hues. Wrought iron demi-lune handle articulates for carriage.
Fascinating lobed finish accentuates the generous form. Stout wishbone shaped keepers to the sides hosting the handle. Set-up for right hand usage, with a diagonal rear strap handle. Graced with a pleasingly clean interior and suitable for all fuel types.
This is a fascinating antique coal scuttle, with a delightfully decorative appearance. Delivered ready for the fireside.
We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee with all of our antiques.
