Description
This is an antique decorative wash stand. An English, mahogany and ceramic jardiniere or planter frame, dating to the Regency period and later, circa 1820.
Charismatic and versatile with superb colour for decorative appeal. Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order. Select stocks to the distinctive frame show fine grain interest. Rich russet hues add warmth in contrast to the verdant green ceramic.
It is of generous size, the later wash bowl ideal for decorative planting. Raised upon a trio of gently tapered legs with turned collars to the shoulder and ankle. Fascinating triform under tier unites each leg.
This is a delightful antique decorative wash stand, graced with superb colour and bold forms. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee with all of our antiques.
