Description
This is an antique display vase. A Japanese, ornate ceramic flower sleeve by Noritake, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1920.
Fascinatingly ornate vase with a brilliant finish and colour that displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout. Quality Japanese ceramic, with a light cream ground. Bold form with wide, flared rim and tapering gently to the foot.
Foliate frieze to the front and rear fascia, set upon a rich green ground. Relief gilt accents adorn the fascia and add appealing highlights. Striking shaped handles dazzle with lightly time-worn gilt finish. Noritake 'Komaru' export mark to the base, registered in London circa 1908.
This is a superb antique display vase, with an attractive foliate decor and striking colour. Delivered ready to display.
We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee with all of our antiques.
