Description
A wonderful antique Edwardian inlaid mahogany writing table / desk. This was made in England, and dates from the 1900-1910 period. It has a fantastic design and is of superb quality. The breakfronted top has a pierced brass gallery. It stands on tapered legs terminating in brass casters. The mahogany has beautiful satin wood inlays throughout and top quality brass handles on the drawers. The central drawer opens normally, the two drawers either side open on hinges and contain divided compartments for letters and stationary. There is even an original glass inkwell inside one drawer. There is an inset gold tooled green leather writing surface which compliments the mahogany beautifully. We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent throughout.
