This is an antique egg cup carousel. An English, silver plated breakfast service by Mappin and Webb, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
Superb 6-person breakfast centrepiece, with eye-catching decoration that displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order. Silver plated stand presents bright silver tones throughout. Offers a set of 6 egg cups and matching number of spoons.
Set upon small props, each cup sits neatly around the edge of the base. Each of the silver spoons rests within a bracket upon the central support. Fascinating handle hosts a figural green man mask motif. Sheffield hallmarks to each spoon, with date letter F for 1898.
This is a striking antique egg cup carousel, offering a desirable touch of glamour to the breakfast table. Delivered ready to enjoy.
