This is an antique 'The Cube' Tea & Coffee set. An English, silver plated serving trio, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1920. Fascinating early 20th century service, with a delightful aesthetic appeal that displays a desirable aged patina in good, original order. Quality silver plate shows signs of gentle polishing throughout. Minimal tarnishing to the bright, silver tones. Offers a tea or coffee pot, creamer jug and sugar dish in a matched cuboid form. Each piece finished with a scalloped corner handle, with a concave finger grasp. Circular lid to the pot opens to reveal the warm, golden interior. Creamer and sugar dish also present the same finish to the inside. Creamer finished with an inset, corner pouring lip. Sugar dish of petite proportion, ideal for several cubes or granulated sugar.
