This exceptional, fine and impressive antique pin brooch has been crafted in 9 ct yellow gold.
The circular cabochon Essex crystal panel features a hand painted reverse intaglio, depicting a dog's head.
The circular design is bordered by a rope twist decoration.
The brooch pin has turned decoration to the stick pin fastening to hold the brooch securely.
This screw fit pin is detachable, allowing for the Essex crystal setting to be utilised in further jewellery items; this indicates the high quality of the piece.
