This is an exceptional, fine and impressive, large antique English sterling silver flagon; an addition to our range of wine and drink related silverware.
This exceptional, fine and impressive antique George V silver flagon has a cylindrical rounded form onto a hexagonal shaped spreading foot.
The surface of this exceptional and large flagon is plain and encompassed with plain applied girdles.
This impressive silver flagon retains the original hallmarked domed hinged cover surmounted with an impressive Arts and Crafts style baluster finial.
The flagon is fitted with an elongated S shaped silver handle ornamented with a plain plateau to the terminal.
The jug is supported by an impressive incurved hexagonal foot ornamented with an applied ribbed decorated border to the rim.
This exceptional Arts and Crafts style silver flagon retains the original gilding to the interior.
Such examples in this Arts and Crafts manner are becoming increasingly difficult to locate.
