Antique Georgian Sterling Silver Novelty Vinaigrette

This is a wonderful George III antique silver novelty vinaigrette in the form of a purse / handbag / basket hallmarked for Birmingham 1819 by maker Samuel Pemberton, with lovely floral engraved design on a suspension chain. In great antique condition, hallmarks are rubbed but legible, the cartouche on the front is clear. The gilding is rubbed inside and it still contains a scented sponge. There are a couple of knocks around the base rim and a few scratches all commensurate of age and use, otherwise in good order.
