This is an antique hallway valet mirror. A Dutch, pressed brass reception wall mirror, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.
Fascinating Dutch example with a suite of useful coat and hat hooks that displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order. Pressed brass fascia with a lightly time worn appearance. Fine bevelled mirror plate with minimal foxing.
Scroll motif surmount with an oval town scene from the Low Countries. Mirror frame with ornate chased patterns and scrolled brackets. Quartet of hooks with coat and hat rests against lion head masks. Dressed with a pair of brass mounting loops for ease of hanging.
