Antique Horse Brasses on Leather

Here we have a beautiful set of four antique horse brasses on a leather strap. It would look great hanging up on a wall in a kitchen or around a fireplace. It features four brasses featuring: A barrel in the centre of a lovely design A compass and square which is a Masonic symbol for judgement, balance and stability A set of cross keys A Middle Eastern scene of animals in a shed It has a ring and a buckle at the top and a ring at the bottom so it can be hung on a wall. The brass has quite a bit of tarnish, particularly on the buckle. The brasses have a matt finish and are just slightly shiny. The leather backing is quite stiff so it will hang well. The strap that the brasses are hung from and hold the brasses on to the leather backing has wear and a little cracking in places but is supple and secure. It measures 49cm in length (19 1/4 inches) from the end of one brass hanging ring to the end of the other.
