Antique Moser Enamel & Gilt Ruby Red Glass Miniature Chatelaine Perfume Scent Bottle c.1880

On offer is this fine antique miniature Moser chatelaine perfume bottle dating circa 1880. This scent bottle has a rounded body with flattened base so can stand upright without support. This scent bottle is made of stunning ruby red glass decorated with hand applied, raised enamel and floral and foliate decoration. This antique perfume bottle is fitted with a gilt metal collar and hinged lid. The top of the lid has pretty engraved decoration and attached to the collar is the original suspensory chain and ring so that the bottle could be hung from a chain or chatelaine. This antique perfume bottle measures a petite 4 cm in length (excluding the attached chain). It is offered in very good condition with no chips, cracks or fractures to the glass body or neck and the inner clear glass stopper is also undamaged. The lid fits firmly and securely and has no dents or dings. There is only very light wear to the enamel decoration. Thank you for your interest.
