Antique Opal & 0.22ct Diamond 15ct Yellow Gold Brooch c.1900

Fine opal and 0.22 carat diamond, platinum set, 15 carat yellow gold brooch; part of our antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections. The elongated shaped pierced decorated frame of this fine antique brooch has been crafted in 15ct yellow gold, with a platinum setting to the anterior face. The brooch is ornamented with five collet and millegrain set circular cabochon opals, graduating in size. The shaped scroll and leaf decorated design is further embellished with twenty, well colour matched eight-cut diamonds of various sizes. This fine opal and diamond brooch is fitted with a hinged pin fastening and security bar. This antique opal brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card. This antique opal and diamond brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as 15ct gold.
