This is an antique overmantle mirror. An Italian, triptych fireplace mirror, dating to the late Victorian period and of fine proportion, suitable to mount above a fireplace. Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order. Cream ground accentuated with attractive flourishes of gilt finish. Original mirror plates in good order with a desirable light foxing.
Impressive, prominent crown moulding accentuated with bands of gilt patterns. Usefully sized oval central mirror framed by a pair of narrow plates. Quality bevelled glass presents a clear, bright reflection. Further distinguished with sash garland and scroll motif decor throughout. Dressed with pairs of brass hanging loops to rear for ease of wall mounting
