A stunning, fine and impressive pearl, 0.30 carat demantoid garnet, 0.45 carat ruby, 0.35 carat diamond, 14 karat yellow gold and silver set sweetheart brooch; part of our diverse antique jewelry collections. This stunning, fine and impressive Victorian brooch has been crafted in 14k yellow gold with a silver setting. The pierced decorated circular frame is embellished with four alternating arrays of a claw set oval faceted cut ruby, Old European round cut diamond, oval faceted cut demantoid garnet and a pearl. The centre of the brooch is ornamented with an interlacing double witch's heart design surmounted with a crown/coronet. The heart to the left is embellished with fourteen eight cut diamonds and the design to the right bears fifteen rubies, all claw set. The band of the coronet incorporates five pavé set eight cut diamonds, accented with five pearls to the points, completing the sweetheart brooch design. This Victorian sweetheart brooch secures to the reverse with a yellow gold hinged pin and clasp. This antique heart brooch with gemstones has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as 14 karat gold and silver. This brooch is supplied with an Idgl diamond and gemstone grading report card.
