This is a fine and impressive antique pearl and 0.42 carat diamond, 18 carat yellow gold and platinum set marquise shaped dress ring; part of our diverse antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections. This fine and impressive antique pearl and diamond ring has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold with a platinum setting. The pierced decorated, marquise shaped setting is ornamented with a central 5mm pearl flanked to the upper and lower border by an Old European round cut diamond. Twenty-five slightly smaller pavé set eight-cut diamonds complete the design. The scalloped edged border is embellished with a millegrain decoration. The elevated, pierced decorated tapering ring shoulders blend seamlessly with the plain ring shank. This antique 1920s dress ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as 18ct gold and platinum.
