Description
This is an antique Pembroke table. An English, mahogany drop-leaf side table, dating to the Regency period, circa 1830.
Charming side table with appealing colour and form that displays a desirable aged patina and in good order. Select stocks present fine grain interest and rich caramel hues. Offers a pair of drop leaves supported by articulated flying arms.
Arranged as a pair of drawers to the front fascia, with faux drawers to the reverse. Each fascia dressed with pairs of circular pulls and brass lined locks — untested, key absent. Drawers lined tastefully with a later faux crocodile finish in black. Wonderful tulip design accentuates the quartet of turned legs, riding smoothly upon a set of castors.
This is a delightful antique Pembroke table, with an appealing finish to the tulip legs and attractive caramel hues. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee with all of our antiques.
