Antique Pine Mule Chest

This is a large antique mule chest which dates to the second half of the19th century, made of solid pine it is quite substantial and spacious and could serve a variety of purposes in any home. It is ideal for use as blanket box or perhaps for storing clothes, a nice alternative to a traditional chest of drawers. The chest is rectangular with a lift up lid to the top which opens to reveal a clean and spacious interior. At the bottom of the chest are two spacious drawers which are finished with turned wooden handles. The wood has a waxed finish which is fairly matt.
