This is an antique pouring jug. An English, copper serving tankard in Arts & Crafts taste, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
Superb decorative pattern adds distinction to this fine copper jug that displays a desirable aged patina and in good order. Quality solid copper presents warm amber hues and fine tonality. Stamped as a Size 4 jug and finished with the distinctive Lizard pattern. Long, serpentine handle to the rear opposite a broad polished spout. Maker's mark to base for Joseph Sankey & Sons.
