The 1900's bar style brooch has been modelled in the form of a chick, engaging with a fine and impressive seed pearl in the form of an egg. The chick is ornamented with an impressive cabochon ruby eye. The antique chick and egg brooch secures with a safety pin style fastening, and is hallmarked to the side of bar setting with the mark for 15 ct gold (15CT). This antique yellow gold brooch is fitted to a hinged leatherette presentation case with a satin and velvet lined interior, securing with a push fit catch.
