Antique Silver Hat Pin Cushion / Ring Stand

A nice example of an antique solid silver hat pin cushion / ring stand with a dark blue cushion on a silver base. It is an unusual piece with a Scottish thistle shaped finial with small purple jewel. It has some hooks below which would be for hanging rings or jewellery. There are two present but I do believe 2 are missing. It is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham, 1908 and the makers Adie & Lovekin. It is in good condition for its age. There are some small dinks around the silver base and some faint surface marks and minor signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and displays well.
