Antique Sterling Silver Pendant Powder Compact Birmingham 1914

On offer is this fine pendant powder compact which measures approx 5.5cm in diameter and weighs 16.4 grams. This powder compact is made of sterling silver and is marked to the inside of the powder well for Birmingham 1914 and has the maker's mark T&C. The compact has a scalloped circular shape and has floral and foliate swag decoration. To the top of the case is a fixed bale so that the compact could be hung from a chain or chatelaine. The inset hinged lid lifts up to reveal an open powder well in the base. Under the lid is a clear and reflective glued glass mirror which has desilvering to the edges only. This powder compact is offered in good condition with normal light age and usage marks. Thank you for your interest.
