Antique Porcelain Novelty Hazelnut Perfume Scent Bottle James McIntyre & Co. Birmingham 1888

On offer is this rare antique figural scent bottle which measures approx 4 cm in height. This novelty perfume bottle is realistically modelled and painted in the shape of a hazelnut and is marked to the base with the registration no. 89920 issued to Macintyre & Co. This perfume bottle is fitted with a plain sterling silver screw lid which has cork lining and is fully hallmarked by Cornelius Saunders & Francis Shepherd Birmingham 1888. This antique figural perfume bottle is offered in very good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing to the porcelain body and no wear to the painted decoration. The silver lid fits firmly and securely and has no dents or dings. Thank you for looking.
