Pleasingly decorative, late Victorian afternoon tea service Displaying a desirable aged patina with minimal tarnish Silver plate shows a clear, bright reflection to the gently polished surface Comprehensive service with tea urn, teapot, sugar tray and milk jug Superb hand-chased foliate patterns issuing scrolled motif, spring flowers and vines decorate each piece Teapot lids dressed with foliate handles, stood prominently above the whole Graceful c-scroll handles to each, with gentle flourishes adorning the apex All four pieces standing upon a quartet of leaf decorated feet John Turton, Sheffield maker's marks to base, all with matching serial number of 0799 This is an eye-catching antique tea service, with delightful hand chased details to the globular forms.
