Antique Victorian 2.38ct Ruby, 0.30ct Diamond, Pearl & 14ct Yellow Gold Crescent Bar Brooch

Stunning 2.38 carat ruby and 0.30 carat diamond, pearl and 14 carat yellow gold, 14 carat white gold set crescent bar brooch - boxed; part of our diverse antique jewellery collections. This stunning, fine and impressive antique crescent moon brooch has been crafted in 14ct yellow gold with a 14ct white gold setting. The bar style brooch is ornamented to the centre with a pierced decorated, crescent shaped setting. The incurve of the crescent is embellished with thirteen 14ct white gold pavé set Old European round cut diamonds, graduating in size. The outer border of the crescent is ornamented with seventeen graduated round mixed cut rubies, collet set in 14ct yellow gold. The bar is ornamented with a single 7mm pearl, surrounded by the crescent shaped setting. The bar has an individual six claw set round mixed cut ruby terminal to either end. The brooch secures with a hinged pin and clap to the reverse. The brooch is fitted to the original leatherette, satin and velvet lined push fit box. This stunning antique Victorian brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as 14ct gold.
