Antique Victorian Mahogany Bookcase

A tall and very impressive antique Victorian mahogany bookcase. This was made in England, it dates from the 1860-1880 period. It is a great size, with lots of storage space in the upper and lower compartments. The top section has three adjustable shelves, the lower section has a two door cabinet with a single shelf. It has rounded corners at the top and bottom, all the doors have arched tops and this sits on a plinth base. The quality is excellent, this is a very practical and good looking item. There are locking keys for the upper and lower compartments, this comes apart in two sections for ease of transport. The top should be screwed to the bottom for safety, the screws are included. We have had this re-polished, it is in lovely condition for its age, with a gorgeous colour tone and patina.
