This magnificent, fine and impressive antique Victorian sterling silver repeating carriage clock has a plain rectangular form.
The body of this impressive silver clock is embellished to each side with an impressive bevelled glass panel, allowing visibility to the timepiece movement.
The surface of the clock bears moulded girdles to the upper and lower portions.
The upper plateau of the clock bears a plain rounded button, which when depressed strikes the nearest hour; the clock additionally chimes on the hour.
This impressive silver carriage clock is fitted with a stepped carrying handle with Greek Key style terminals and a ribbed cylindrical motif to the centre of the handpiece.
The white enamel dial is ornamented with black hour Roman numerals, encircled with plain black chapter ring of minute markers.
The face of this timepiece is visible through a circular glass 'window' with a plain applied silver border.
