Antique Victorian Sweetmeat Glass c.1850 This hand blown and cut glass was used to hold sweets and delicacies, especially on social occasions. It has a goblet bowl of generous capacity which is circled with a ring of thumbnail cutting. It sits above a large teardrop hollow inverted baluster stem and a wide foot which has been blown into a mould. Condition report: The glass is in very good condition. The glass has the usual variations within it as is commensurate with the production methods of the period.
