Description
A late Victorian glass Quaich from the indomitable William Comyns, produced in the late 1890's. This Quaich comprises the simple silver rim frame, which in turn hosts: the hallmarks and the elegantly cast silver handles, opposite each other on the opposing sides of the glass bowl. Please note this 8cm diameter example is complete with a plain glass bowl and a 5mm starcut pedestal to the base.

Larkin & Gallow has clarified that the Antique William Comyns Silver & Cut Glass Quaich (LA519403) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being 1896/1897
condition
Good; some light surface scratching to silver, commensurate with age and use. Glass good - no chips or cracks. Base has two very small crescent 'air creases' occurring during manufacture and/or attaching the the pedestal.
