Antique Wooden Notice Board Cabinet, Altar, Shrine, Shadow Box

This is an unusual handmade notice board cabinet dating to the first half of the 20th Century. The cabinet is large and heavy and reputedly came from the tithe barn at Dunster. Made of solid wood and designed to used wall mounted the cabinet has a shaped architectural pediment and and a single large glazed door to the front. The wood has a light coloured stripped finish which has been waxed.
