Art Deco Enamel Pendant Powder Compact c.1930

On offer is this attractive art deco pendant powder compact dating circa 1930 and measuring approx. 4 cm in diameter. The compact is made of brass metal with elaborately chased sides and lovely floral embossed floral and foliate decoration to the base in high relief. The hinged lid has chased brass border around an enamel plaque featuring a spray of flowers on white ground with green edging. The case has firm hinge and secure clasp and opens to reveal the original convex mirror with rope twist frame under the lid. The powder well in the base is empty of powder but retains the original clean lambs wool puff with pink silk ribbon. To the top of the case is bale and ring so that the compact could be suspended from a chain or chatelaine. This fine 1930's powder compact is offered in very good condition with no dents or dings to the case and no damage to the enamel lid. The interior mirror is clear and reflective but has some minor clouding to the top edge. Thank you for looking.
