Description
On offer is this attractive art deco flapper era vanity purse which dates circa 1930. The case is rectangular in shape with canted corners and domed body with attached broad link wristlet chain. It is made of white metal with plain cream enamel base. The lid has the same cream enamel ground with hand painted pink cabbage roses and green foliage.
The case has firm hinge and secure catch. It opens to a double sided interior with hinged door covering the concealed powder well in the base. This door also has a sliding mechanism which can be left on sift or closed.
