A recent find, a most splendid 1930s Art Deco oak 3 drawer cabinet with a useful lower 2 door cabinet retailed by William Spriggs and Co London.
William Spriggs were based in Tottenham Court Road, London; carvers & gilders, cabinet makers, house furnishers, upholsterers, looking glass & picture frame makers, bedstead makers from 1882-1935.
This one oozes style and quality - in solid oak we have carefully chosen timber to craft a super looking and practical piece. The original green Art Deco inspired faux marble handles are still in place. The little vented oak base is just lovely, the shapely edges and plinths are spot on for the era and the overall scale and shape make it perfect for so many spaces.
Condition is good - no nasty cracks or splits, gentle sensible wear and as mentioned highly original with the retailers irvine badge to the small top drawer. We have carefully ensured the piece is ready to place and enjoy.
