Description
A beautiful Art Deco portrait mirror consists of seven individual pieces, one large centre plate and six outer sections.
The centre plate is rectangular with and arched top and a good Beth edge all round. There is a rear cut linear design which is particular to the period.
The six outer pieces are light peach coloured mirror pieces which are cut in the same lines as the centre plate and act as a frameless frame. Each of these pieces also has a good bevelled edge all round.
This mirror is in very good condition with no chips, or deep scratches and the reflectivity is very good. There are a couple of tiny nibbles that can be seen on close inspection but do not detract from it’s beautiful appearance.
All the mirrored pieces are mounted on a wooden backboard and attached with a combination of Crome cap screws and traditional metal clips. The original fixtures and fittings are on the rear also.
