Description
Art Nouveau Bronze - The Cherry Picker. Foundry mark for Société des Bronzes de Paris to the back, signed van der Straeten (Belgian 1856-1928). This smart little bronze is in wonderful condition and retains some of the original cold paint to the cherries and leaves. The original alabaster base has a few tiny niggles, nothing drastic and commensurate with her age. She stands just short of 9 inches (23cm) tall and is ready to admire. All my photos are taken using natural light only.
